1. Introduction
Welcome to Areospace's Privacy Policy, This outlines how Areospace collects, uses, and protects user data while providing it's most amazing features on discord! By using Areospace you automatically agree to the info in this Privacy Policy.
2. Data Collection, How your data is used, How your data is stored, and how long it is stored
Areospace collects the following types of data:
- What the discord bot collects:
- User Commands- Commands entered by users to interact with the bot
- Guild Information- Data about the Servers where the bot is added, such as server ID, channel names, and roles
- User Identifiers- user IDs, usernames, and discriminator numbers necessary for bot functionality
- What the Connections website collects:
- User Information- UserIds, UserNames
- Website Collection- The website collects encrypted ip-address for functionality
- Anonymous Analytics- The website collects system information to help improve the website
Any commands/events that will be tracking data like the GuildID (or UserID, RoleID, etc) will be disabled by default. We do this to prevent any unwanted data getting collected.
Areospace uses the data inputted into the bot to help process and respond to users commands, enhance user experiences with updates to make sure the bot doesn't crash via error logs, and we use our team of beta testers to help test the bot to make sure it is properly functioning and to help the developers troubleshoot issues!
Areospace will temporarily store data for at least 2 to 4 weeks, user data can be removed via request by dming the server owner ziggy._.mc that way they can make sure that your data is deleted upon your request, it may take a few days to delete depending on if we are backed up on requests or not!
Note: Areospace does NOT collect or store sensitive personal info unless explicitly required for a feature and consented to by the users of Areospace.
3. Third-Party Services
Areospace does use 3rd party services like MongoDB our database host. These services also comply with discord's tos and very important standards set for data protection.
4. Children's Privacy
Areospace is always intended for use on discord, this requires users to be at least 13 years of age or older. Areospace does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy and Contact Us
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be announced via the announcements channel in the bot's support server. Continued use of Areospace after updates to this privacy policy means that you automatically agree to this privacy policy. Again please remember that if you do have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or wish to request data deletion, you can contact us in our support server via the /support command.
6. Areospacedb Connections
All of your personal data (ex. ip-address) is encrypted for your own privacy. We collect anonymous data to help improve the website. We do not store any of your data until you link one account to your discord account. We do not have access to any accounts that you link. You are free to disconnect your account at anytime. If you wish to delete all of your data and your account, please click "Delete Account" to delete all data associated with your account.
7. Beta privacy (not active atm)
Any and all data collected from errors/commands that was executed will be deleted upon restart. We may log the error for future fixing, if we do log it, we will delete it once the error is fixed. If you would like to request for your data to be removed, contact us.
